Come along to the lovely Castlehill Heritage Centre  to learn the basics of fused glass and make a selection of Christmas Decorations. Suitable for complete beginners or people who have completed my Introduction to Fused Glass Workshop before, you will be led step by step through glass cutting, designing, assembling and decorating the glass.
 
You'll each be given a small kiln shelf to assemble your work on, so you'll make around 4 - 6 pieces depending on the size of your decorations. You can choose to make a matching set, or mix things up and try lots of different techniques :)
 
Items will be fused overnight, then will be posted to you.
Complimentary Mulled Wine (and alternatives) and mince pies will be served. All my classes are 3 hours long this time around to give you more time to enjoy yourself!

About your teacher!A self confessed glass geek, Shelagh is a very experienced tutor, having taught both painting and glass internationally as well as in her own studio since 2012. In 2013 Bullseye Glass (the manufacturers of the glass you will use in this session) invited Shelagh to their factory in Portland, Oregon, where she completed a week long instructors course. She absolutely adores teaching, and always makes sure that her sessions are very informative, but also lots of fun!
